Thuli Trust was officially registered in Vazhapadi Sub Registrar's Office on 03.02.2021, with the registration number 5/book 4/2021. The Trust operates from the address 140/5B, Krishna Nagar 2, Belur Postal, Vazhapadi Taluk, Salem District, and has been actively providing various services since its inception. The Trust ensures that income tax returns are filed annually, and accounts are meticulously maintained. Thuli Trust functions as a charitable organization that has been granted income tax exemption under section 80G by the government. To maintain transparency with donors, soft receipts are sent to all contributors, and a detailed monthly budget is submitted to them. The Trust remains committed to its mission of serving the community and continually strives to uphold the highest standards of financial integrity and transparency.

Mission

Our Trust is committed to guiding students who are ambitious but economically disadvantaged, providing them with the necessary resources and support to achieve their goals. We offer mentorship, scholarships, and access to educational materials to help them excel in their studies and future careers. Additionally, we dedicate our efforts to individuals who require financial support, ensuring they have access to the opportunities they need to succeed. By fostering a supportive environment, we aim to empower these individuals to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

Focus Area

The Thuli Trust has been diligently engaging in community welfare by organizing numerous health camps, skill development workshops, and environmental awareness programs over the past five years. Their services encompass free self-defense (Silambam) and yoga training for children and women, free TNPSC training courses for government job aspirants, and the provision of two sets of uniforms for unaccompanied children studying in government schools from class 9 to 12 and offer learning equipment for orphaned children in government schools. Additionally, We provide college scholarships and medical scholarships, and medical aids for children from economically disadvantaged families.

The foundation also maintains tree saplings to protect the environment and provides water and food for birds during the summer. During the winter, they supply blankets to destitute individuals living on the streets and distribute sewing machines to destitute widows and rural women. Furthermore, they offer Ari work training for rural poor women, support nutrition for TB and HIV sufferers, and provide Eemachatangu stipends for the most economically disadvantaged families. During the COVID-19 curfew period, the foundation provided grocery and rice products to economically disadvantaged families.

Trust awards incentives to students who excelled in various fields at the state and central levels, and supplied sports and athletic equipment to children. The Thuli Foundation remains steadfast in its commitment to community welfare and continues to strive for the betterment of society. Their efforts have created a positive impact on the lives of numerous individuals and families, fostering a sense of hope and resilience within the communities they serve. By continuously adapting and expanding their programs, the Thuli Foundation ensures that they address the evolving needs of the community and promote sustainable development for future generations

Dr. P. Periyarmannan

Chief Director of the Thuli Trust.

He holds master's degrees in Tamil, journalism, zoology and education, and a doctorate in education. He has established the Periyar Training Center in Vazhapadi, providing rural youth and young women with an easy way to pursue degrees. He is the president of the Nest Foundation and has been involved in social work for over 25 years, along with voluntary organizations including Arima Sangam.

He effectively bridges the gap between modern management principles and traditional farming.
